Benefits of Energy Efficiency

All of Lockheed’s primary window and door products with LowE Glass and Argon Gas are ENERGY STAR® certified. As the recognized symbol for energy efficiency, the ENERGY STAR® certification distinguishes superior high-performance products designed to save money while helping to protect the environment. Homeowners with ENERGY STAR® certified products have the opportunity to receive a federal tax credit for windows and doors through December 31, 2016.

When:


2012 - 2016

How Much:


10% of the cost (not including installation).

Up to $200 for windows.

Up to $500 for doors.


Timing:


Tax credit is in effect for 2012 - 2016. Windows and doors must be installed in your principal residence between January 1. 2011 and December 31, 2016.

Qualifications:


 Windows and doors must be ENERGY STAR® certified.

You do not have to replace all of the windows and doors in your home to qualify. It also does not need to be a replacement.


Find Qualified Models:


Qualified models will have an ENERGY STAR® label.

How To Apply:


To apply for your tax credit, file Tax Form 5695 with your tax return.
